Sometimes people eat pineapples as if they’re apples, probably placing emphasis on the “apple” part of the word itself.

If, however, you emphasize the “pine” part of the word, and imagine a pine cone, then it’s far less likely you will bite into it in such a manner.

As such, the mystery of how many bites it takes for a human to get to the center of a pineapple is only known to those brave or stupid enough to try.

For dogs, it depends on the breed. And for sharks it is one.
